LAS CRUCES - Lynn Community Middle School invites the Las Cruces community to come out and meet the Lynn Family with  an amazing lineup of activities during the Lynn spectacular at Barnes & Noble at the Mesilla Valley Mall.

The event takes place Saturday, Oct. 19, from 10 a.m. to 8pm.  Families from all over Las Cruces can come and learn about the programs and students at Lynn. This is a fundraising Book Fair to

Lynn's magnet programs, Art and Engineering, will present who they are and what they are about.  If you have a 5th grader interested in magnet programs for middle school, you are invited to come see what Lynn  has to offer.

The music programs at Lynn are showcasing the students of the Advanced and Jazz Bands, the choir and the orchestra.  The Drama and Creative Writing students will also show off their talents, and the robotics students will demonstrate what they've learned this semester.  The students in dance and cheer will do one or two of their routines, and students and coaches from football, boys’ and girls’ basketball, tennis, volleyball and track and field will also be there.

Attendees can meet and enjoy stories with Lynn's Principal, Mrs. Ballard and the Vice-Principal, Mr. Acosta.  The new superintendent, Dr. Trujillo, will be joining the Lynn family to support the first community school in Las Cruces.

Lynn is excited to have the Chess Club and their special guest, Austin Trout, a Lynn alumnus, join them.  The students and sponsors from the Builder’s Club will be participating in this all-day event to discuss how their organization works with the Kiwanis Club to serve our community.

To support Lynn with your purchases,  tell the cashier when purchasing items from the bookstore or café that you are there to support Lynn Community Middle School.
