Chacon-Rietzel, Devasthali and Sanchez had just been recommended by the Senate Rules Committee as the three new regents for NMSU. The new regents join Hicks and Jerean Hutchinson to complete the board of five. They were scheduled to take an oath of office at 8 a.m. Friday, March 8, in the Regents Room of the Educational Services Building on the NMSU campus, 1780 East University Ave. See page 19.
