Bulletin report

The New Mexico State University football team was selected to finish in ninth place out of 11 teams in the Sun Belt Conference in the league's coaches' poll, which is voted on by the head coaches at each football member of the conference.

Appalachian State was voted No. 1.

The Aggies finished the 2015 season 3-9 overall and 3-5 in the SBC. After being chosen to finish in last place during the 2015 Preseason Coach’s Poll, the squad ended the season tied for fifth out of 11 teams.

The highlight of the season for the Aggies was a 3-0 run. First, they grabbed a 55-48 come-from-behind overtime win against Idaho on Oct. 31. NM State then traveled to Texas State, where they secured a 31-21 victory over the Bobcats. The Aggies captured their third win with a 37-34 victory at UL Lafayette. This was the first time the program won three consecutive games since 2004.
