Protesters rallied at noon, Wednesday July 15, in front of Rep. Steve Pearce's Las Cruces office to speak out against a bill organizers say will strip protections away from Mexican gray wolves. They say the legislation, H.R. 2910, would nullify two federal rules that list the Mexican wolf as an endangered subspecies and prescribe management of the reintroduced population that spans the New Mexico and Arizona state border.
