Posted

State Rep. Angelica Rubio, D-Doña Ana, will travel to the 2020 session of the New Mexico Legislature on a bicycle, just as she did in 2019.

Rubio will depart from Mainstreet Vintage Mercado, 300 N. Main St. downtown, at 10 a.m. Saturday, Jan. 11.

Rubio hosted her final, full-length “Spill the Beans with Rep. Rubio” public meeting on Jan. 4, at Vintage Mercado, and may host an abbreviated version of the meeting beginning at about 9:30 a.m. before her departure for Santa Fe on Jan. 11.

Rubio has several stops planned along the bike route to Santa Fe before arriving there Saturday, Jan. 18, to attend the session that begins Tuesday, Jan. 21.

Those stops, during which Rubio will meet with local legislators and residents, include Alamogordo on Saturday, Jan. 11; Ruidoso on Sunday, Jan. 12; Roswell on Monday, Jan. 13; Vaughn on Wednesday, Jan. 15; Clines Corners on Thursday, Jan. 16; and Lamy on Friday, Jan. 17.
