Due to an internal anomaly with certain utility bills mailed yesterday, some Las Cruces Utilities customers were not billed the monthly access fee and volume charge on metered services, gas and water.
The charges that are based on the metered service such as cost of gas and rate riders, were calculated correctly. Other customers whose bills were mailed Wednesday, Nov. 9 were calculated correctly.
The error has been identified as a critical priority for quick resolution. Las Cruces Utilities apologizes for the inconvenience and assures those customers affected that their bills will be adjusted to include the monthly access fee and volume charge.
