NASA ship rocks southern New Mexico

Posted

NASA’s Boeing Starliner landed safely at White Sands Missile Range Space Harbor at 5:58 a.m. Sunday, Dec. 22. Personnel checked out the contents of the capsule, dubbed “Calypso” by astronaut Sunny Williams, who is slated to man the spacecraft next time it goes up.

Numerous residents of Las Cruces and surrounding areas reported hearing a boom and having their homes shake.

"The windows in our house all shook around that time, much like from a sonic boom. I thought about looking outside to see if I could see anything coming down from the sky above the Organ Mountains." - Facebook poster
