BULLETIN REPORT

LAS CRUCES - Police are asking for the public’s help in identifying two women suspected of shoplifting an estimated $6,000 worth of merchandise from several stores in Las Cruces, and then committing a similar crime in Socorro, N.M.

Las Cruces police learned the two women shoplifted merchandise from several stores in Las Cruces on Sunday, Feb. 10, 2019. The merchandise stolen was valued at approximately $6,000. The same two women are suspected of shoplifting an unknown amount of merchandise from a store in Socorro, N.M., sometime after Feb. 10.

Surveillance cameras captured images of the women. Those pictures can be seen on the Las Cruces Police Department’s Facebook page. Investigators believe the women left Las Cruces in a black Dodge minivan with a temporary, or dealer, license plate.

Las Cruces Crime Stoppers is offering a reward of up to $1,000 for information that helps identify the two women.

Anyone with information that can help identify either one or both women is asked to call Las Cruces Crime Stoppers at 1-800-222-8477. Tips can also be provided through the Las Cruces Crime Stoppers app, “P3 TIPS.” The app is available through the App Store on most devices.

Those who provide tips through Crime Stoppers do not have to leave their own name and can remain completely anonymous.
