A Children’s Theatre presents ‘The Legend of Robin Hood … Sort Of’

More than 40 local actors, ages 5-16, are included in the two separate casts that will perform A Children’s Theatre of the Mesilla Valley’s (ACT) production of “The Legend of Robin Hood … Sort,” by Pat Cook.

The play is directed by Jazmin Buchman, Bianca Castro, Luis Castro and Mike DerrGuitar.

All performances are at Rio Grande Theatre, 313 N. Main St. Downtown.

Public performances are at 7 p.m. Fridays, March 11 and 18, and at 1 p.m. Saturdays, March 12 and 19.

It will also have special performances for Las Cruces Public Schools students at noon Friday and Saturday, March 11-12.

Tickets for the public performances are $8. Tickets will be available at the door before each performance and are also available online at www.achildrenstheatre.org/ticket-purchase.

The show is fast-paced and fun and appropriate for all ages, said ACT Artistic Director Kelly King.

The nonprofit ACT was established in 1993. In addition to producing live shows for child actors, ACT also offers theater and film classes.
