Las Cruces photographer David Sorensen’s spectacular show “Beautiful Barbarism,” continues through Friday, Dec. 10, at Art Obscura Gallery, 3206 Harrelson St. in Mesilla Park. This photo shows Sorensen with the “performance art” set-up he used “to amplify the show’s theme” during the exhibit’s opening reception. “We’re getting good traffic and sales,” Sorensen said about his show. “It certainly is making visitors think and comment.” Art Obscura is open 10 a.m. to 7 p.m. Thursday through Saturday and noon to 4 p.m. Sunday.
