City requests responses to "Bicycle Friendly Community" survey

Posted

The City of Las Cruces would like to hear from you on the bicycling conditions in the City!

City Planners have recently submitted a “Bicycle Friendly Community” (BFC) application to the League of American Bicyclists (LAB) and the hope is to maintain or exceed our current “Bronze” level status.

The LAB is conducting a survey for the residents of each City that submitted a BFC application to provide additional context for their analysis. The BFC award status and survey results will be announced sometime in May, 2021.

The survey should take no longer than 15 minutes to complete and will be available through Wednesday, March 31. It will give residents who bike, or would like to bike more, an opportunity to share their thoughts on what is working and what could be improved upon, to encourage more Las Cruces residents to bike for various purposes.

Below is a link to the survey: https://www.surveymonkey.com/r/App_BFC_Sp21

If you have more questions about the BFC application or survey, please contact Robert Messenger in Community Development at the following email: rmessenger6838@las-cruces.org or phone number: (575) 528-3209.
