The City of Las Cruces’ Redistricting Ad Hoc Committee (RAHC) is asking for public input regarding proposed concept maps that will be used to help determine the boundaries of the six Las Cruces City Council districts for the next 10 years, the city said in a news release.

To view the maps, visit www.las-cruces.org and click on “Redistricting.”

Public comments can be emailed to redistricting@las-cruces.org. All public comments will be accepted through Wednesday, June 22.

After public comment closes, RAHC will reevaluate the maps and narrow down the best options to be presented to the city council for further consideration at a future work session, the city said.

For more information, call the city clerk’s office at 575-541-2115.
