With student doctors from Burrell College of Osteopathic Medicine (BCOM) participating, BCOM and La Casa, Inc. domestic violence program of Las Cruces hosted a community health fair Saturday, Aug. 27, at Young Park. The free event included health information and health services, including blood pressure, blood glucose, body mass index (BMI), and vision screenings. BCOM students conducted screenings at the fair and answered questions about men’s and women’s health issues and healthy lifestyle choices.
