DOÑA ANA COMMUNITY COLLEGE

DACC to require masks indoors

Posted

Effective August 2nd Doña Ana Community College (DACC) will require masks in all indoor locations and offices where social distancing (six feet) is not possible.

The requirement applies to all classrooms, labs, meeting rooms, vehicles and other spaces regardless of an individual’s vaccination status. Those who are unvaccinated must continue to wear masks indoors at all times regardless of social distancing.

The requirement is based on recommendations by the Centers for Disease Control (CDC) and New Mexico Governor Michelle Lujan Grisham.

While DACC will continue to offer instruction and services using remote technologies, the college will also expand their in-person offerings for the fall semester. DACC’s campuses and learning centers will open their doors on Monday, August 2nd. DACC buildings will be open Monday through Friday from 8:00 am to 5:00 pm.

Applications are currently being accepted for this semester, which is scheduled to begin August 18th. Helpful information about degree programs, tuition costs, financial aid, and more can be found on the DACC website.  Applicants can apply online at dacc.nmsu.edu. DACC has two campuses and four learning centers located within Doña Ana County.
