This Friday, October 1, 2021 will kick off the first annual Baylor Canyon Rivalry Game as Organ Mountain High School is set to host Centennial High School inside Las Cruces Public Schools’ Field of Dreams, located on the corner of Motel Boulevard and Tashiro Road. The game will begin at 7:00 p.m. gates will open at 5:30 p.m.
According to LCPS Athletic Director Ernie Viramontes, tickets will go on sale starting Thursday and Friday. Organ Mountain High School will be selling tickets from 8:00 a.m. – 5:00 p.m. on Thursday and from 8:00 a.m. – 3:00 p.m. on Friday. Centennial will be selling tickets Thursday and Friday from 8:00 a.m. - 3:00 p.m., Knight and Hawk fans may purchase their tickets at the gate on game day.
“The rivalry games are always exciting,” said Viramontes. “To see the kids, coaches, and fans, it’s just a great way to bring the community together.”
Organ Mountain High School will be the home team, with fans on the west side of the stands, and Centennial High School will be the visiting team on the east side of the stadium. Organ Mountain fans are asked to enter the stadium through Motel Boulevard and park on the west side of the stadium. Centennial fans will enter the stadium through Tashiro and will park on the east side.
