DENVER, Colo. – Logan Gallina picked up a pair of postseason awards from the Western Athletic Conference, the league announced Tuesday. The awards were selected by the league's ten head coaches.

Gallina was named to the All-WAC First Team and the All-Defensive Team. Hitting .342 with 20 home runs, Gallina was the bright spot of the NM State offense throughout the year. The Laguna Niguel, California native drove in 59 runs, nearly doubling the next closest Aggie. Gallina's 20 home runs rank 18th nationally and is tied for the conference lead heading into the WAC Baseball Tournament.

At first base, Gallina committed just two errors on the season for a .995 fielding percentage, good for the highest among NM State starters. With 358 putouts and 10 assists, Gallina continued to build his reputation as an elite defender.

Twice this season, Gallina was named a National Player of the Week by Collegiate Baseball newspaper.

Gallina and the Aggies will take on Sam Houston on Wednesday at 1 p.m. MT to kick off the WAC Baseball Tournament. All of the action can be seen on ESPN+ or can be found on the airwaves of 91.5 KRUX with Adam Young on the call.
