New Mexico State University Creative Media Academy Director Ross Marks thanks Gov. Michelle Lujan Grisham as Doña Ana Community College President Monica Torres watches Tuesday, July 26. The three joined state and local officials on stage at DACC to announce the creation of a new satellite film school in Las Cruces. The school is a companion to an upcoming New Mexico Media academy for which $40 million was approved in the 2022 legislative session.
