Heart and History Walks begin June 3

Posted

Community members are invited for an easy morning walk and learn about the history of Downtown Las Cruces and the Mesquite Historic District. Members of the public are invited to Heart and History Walks on the first and third Fridays of every month. They begin and end at the west side of City Hall in front of the main building entrance.

These walking tours of approximately 40 minutes alternate between Las Cruces Downtown and the Mesquite Historic District.

Starting on June 3 and continuing through August 19, walks will begin at 7 a.m., with a departure of 7:10 a.m. and return by 8 a.m.

Participants will need to sign a release waiver. Unless they are service animals, we ask that you do not bring your dogs.

For information, contact Robert Messenger, Active Transportation Coordinator, at 575-528-3209 (TTY: 1-800-659-8331) or by email at rmessenger@las-cruces.org.
