Due to unforeseen circumstances, the live event with Joy Harjo, initially scheduled at the Rio Grande Theatre at 5 p.m. Saturday, Nov. 13, 2021, has been canceled and will instead be moved to an online Zoom event at the same time and date.“Ms. Harjo regrets that she cannot travel at this time, but she is looking forward to hosting the event virtually from her home in Tulsa, Oklahoma,” Margaret Neill, Library Administrator said.All ticketholders for the Rio Grande Theatre program will receive a link to the Zoom event and can join online to listen to Ms. Harjo and other guest speakers discuss poetry and their personal experiences.The Zoom event will be at 5 p.m. Nov. 13, 2021.
