Amalia Kelter Zeitlin, violinist in the Las Cruces (and El Paso) Symphony and Executive Director of Camerata del Sol, was part of one of five invited acts performing at the 2021 New Mexico Music Awards held recently in Albuquerque.  Zeitlin played violin on six songs on the Larry Lesser album Sparks (https://larrylesser.com/sparks), with all but one of those songs getting radio airplay so far, and with one of the songs including harmony vocals from Larry Karol, who recently retired from Las Cruces' Temple Beth El.  Recorded in Sunland Park, NM's Brainville Studios, the album was a Finalist in four NMMA categories (including Best Album) and a winner for Best Humorous Song.
