New Mexico Music Awards winners include Doña Ana County artists

Artists from throughout Doña Ana County, along with one from Sierra County, brought home 2022 New Mexico Music Awards from the May 22 New Mexico Music Awards presented in Albuquerque.

Local winners were:

• Best cover song: Alison Reynolds of Las Cruces for “All Along the Watchtower/Carry on My Wayward Son”;
• Best single, Americana category: Grant Collinsworth of Santa Teresa for “This House of Glass”;
• Best single, indie: Ross Ingram of Sunland Park for “Sell The Tape Machine.” Ingram also won best rock album for “Winter Skin”;
• Best single, religious: Rooster Blackspur of Truth or Consequences for “Unholy Saints.”
• Best rock album: “EEP,” by Ross Ingrama
