Picacho Hills neighborhood group cleans things up

Rita and Mike Bureman help with Picacho Hills Property Owners Association’s (PHPOA) during the April 9 Picacho Hills spring cleanup that was part of the Great American Cleanup. Twenty-two people spent more two hours each collecting 38 bags of trash, enough trash to fill two Dumpsters at the corner of Vista Hermosa and Via Norte and on Renoir Drive in Picacho Hills, said PHPOA member Janis Paul. The Dumpsters were donated by Southwest Disposal. Trash bags, gloves, safety vests and pickup tools were provided by Keep Las Cruces Beautiful, which co-sponsored the cleanup along with PHPOW.
