Stars, stripes and solidarity

Residents of Las Cruces’ La Plata Drive are flying their American flags in support of those on the front lines of the battle against COVID-19. “I decided that my husband and I would fly our American flag until this pandemic is over as a positive show of support for the citizens of this country and the belief that we will get through this together,” said resident Susie Coker. “Most of the folks on our street agreed to do the same. It is so nice to look up and down our street and know that we neighbors are supporting each other, as well as our community and country.”
