Femme Frontera MiniFest at the Plaza Theatre

Experience the power of storytelling through the lens of talented women and gender-expansive filmmakers at this inaugural event featuring two poignant coming-of-age feature films from the border that touch on relationships, resilience, and identity. The filmmakers will be on hand during the screenings.

Movies in the Park presentsFive Nights at Freddy’s

The city’s parks and recreation department continues its ongoing Movies in the Park series with the 2023 thriller “Five Nights at Freddy’s,” based on the popular video game, starring Josh Hutcherson as a desperate young man who takes a job as a nighttime security guard at a long abandoned pizzeria with a dark past.

3rd Annual Otero County Heritage Festival & Street Dance

A day of history and culture celebrating all things Otero County takes place on the street in front of the Flickinger Center, with local artists and vendors presenting. Local documentary films will be presented in the theatre and Patron’s Hall will be transformed into a museum showcasing the county’s rich history.
