Back on track: Railroad Museum has virtual Transportation Days


The Las Cruces Railroad Museum invites all transportation enthusiasts to join to a virtual “Transportation Day 2021.” The event will be held on the museum’s social media channels throughout the day Saturday, April 24.

Participants for this years’ event include the Las Cruces Police Department, Las Cruces Fire Department, the Harvey Girls in El Paso, the Las Cruces Transit Department, Operation Lifesaver and more.

Activity kits are also available on a first-come, first-served basis, 10 a.m.-1 p.m. Wednesday, April 21, at the Museum of Nature & Science, 411 N. Main St. downtown. Registration is not required.

The Railroad Museum, 351 N. Mesilla St., is currently closed due to the New Mexico public health orders. Reopening plans will be announced on Facebook and Instagram @LCMuseums.
