On Tuesday, Oct. 15, the Aggies will take on the Louisiana Tech Bulldogs at Aggie Memorial Stadium, and the Cancer Warriors will celebrate with a tailgate party raising pom poms – and awareness of breast, ovarian and uterine cancer.
The Warriors Week Tailgate begins at 5 p.m. and is open to everyone, per Cancer Warriors founder Marci Dickerson. It will be held between Pan American Center and Aggie Memorial Stadium. You can pick up tickets to the game at the tailgate tent located between the Pan American Center and the football stadium or at The Game Sports Bar and Grill, 2605 S. Espina St. Wear pink and get free tickets. Pom poms and other free pink items will be given away at the gate, and there will be a special presentation of the Cancer Warriors board of directors and event sponsors during the game, Dickerson said.
