Artwork created by students in Doña Ana Community College film and digital media program will be on display at the Doña Ana Arts Council’s Arts and Cultural Center gallery, 230 S. Water St. downtown, Monday, April 3-Thursday, April 27, DACC said in a news release.

An opening reception for the exhibit will be 5-8 p.m. Friday, April 7, at DAAC, during Arts Ramble. A second reception will be held noon-5 p.m. Saturday, April 15.

The exhibit features 23 prints of digital student artwork created in photo imaging, illustration, photography and drawing for animation classes at DACC, the news release said. The film and digital arts program offers associate of applied science degrees and certificates in media arts, including classes in film, web design, graphic design, game development, animation, photography, printmaking, ceramics and drawing, DACC said.

“It is a valuable learning experience for the students to share their artwork at DAAC,” DACC ARTS/Digital Graphics Professor Abby Osborne said.
