Congressman-elect names district director

Posted

Hull currently serves as a constituent services representative in Las Cruces for U.S. Sen. Ben Ray Lujan, D-N.M. and has worked for more than a decade in similar capacities for U.S. Sen. Martin Heinrich and former U.S. Rep. Deb Haaland, both D-N.M.

“I am truly humbled by the opportunity to serve as Congressman-elect Gabe Vasquez’ district director,” Hull said.  “I am ready to work tirelessly alongside Gabe to serve the people of this district and build a diverse, constituent-centered team in New Mexico that will deliver for all residents of our district.”

“As a veteran caseworker, Cynthia knows our district and understands the challenges that we face,” Vasquez said. “From veterans issues to visa and immigration casework, Cynthia has been on the frontlines of serving New Mexicans from Las Cruces to Albuquerque. I am excited to bring her expertise to our office to help us build healthy, thriving, and successful families and communities.”

Hull, who is bilingual, is a first-generation Mexican American. She has an M.A. in economics and a B.A. in journalism and mass communication from New Mexico State University, Vasquez said.
