Las Cruces-based video game studio Ganymede Games unveiled its debut video game, called Xenotheria, in late March and has opened sign-ups for players who want to test the game ahead of its official release, the company said in a news release.

Xenotheria is a single-player, science-fiction, role-playing game being developed for PC and console platforms.

“We’re very excited to unveil Xenotheria to the world and start getting feedback from a wider group of players,” said Ganymede Games CEO Jerry Prochazka. “We’re committed to delivering a high quality, single-player RPG experience with memorable characters, an immersive world and strategic combat.”

Ganymede actively involves players in its development process, the news release said. In 2020, the company surveyed more than 7,500 gamers on their preferences and highlight opportunities to improve RPGs. To see the survey results, visit http://imgur.com/a/iukDnJs.
