Law Enforcement Torch Run for Special Olympics events

The Las Cruces Law Enforcement Torch Run for Special Olympics New Mexico BBQ Cookoff and Cornhole Tournament is Saturday, Nov. 4, at Plaza de Las Cruces, 100 N. Main St. Amador Health Center of Las Cruces will conduct a health fair during the tournament.

Registration for the barbecue cookoff begins at 7 a.m., with cooking starting at 8 a.m. Prizes will be awarded for first-, second- and third place and a grand champion will be crowned for meats and chef’s choice.

Cornhole tournament registration is 9-10:30 a.m.; play begins at 11 a.m. Prizes will be awarded for first- and second place.
