To begin Las Cruces Community Theatre’s (LCCT) 60th season, “Nunsense” opens Friday, Aug. 5, for a three-week run at LCCT, 313 N. Main St., Downtown. Performances are at 7:30 p.m. Friday-Saturday, Aug. 5-6, 12-13 and 19-20, and at 2 p.m. Sundays, Aug. 7, 14 and 21. Tickets are $17 for adults; $14 for senior citizens (65 and older), students and military; $10 for children 12 and under; and $5 for student rush tickets. Tickets are available at www.lcctnm.org and at the door before each performance. Reservations are recommended. “Nunsense” was written by Dan Goggin. The LCCT production is directed by Wil Kilroy, who is head of the NMSU Theatre Department. The cast features Jada Bryant, Shari DuMond, Judy Bethmann, Isabella Candelaria and Janet Beatty-Payne.
