The Picacho Hills Property Owners Association (PHPOA) and the Picacho Hills Country Club held its third annual food drive during December and were “able to deliver two vehicles full of food, plus monetary donations, which together will provide 5,951 meals,” said PHPOA board member Janis Paul.
The food and money were donated to Casa de Peregrinos emergency food program.
PHPOA also made a $200 donation to the Fairacres Volunteer Fire Department in December, with PHPOA board member Pat Anderson presenting the check to Fairacres Assistant Fire Chief Austin Standride.
