Police Seeking information about shooting that injured 18-year-old

The Las Cruces Police Department is seeking information from the public regarding a shooting that hospitalized an 18-year-old man on July 7.

Police said in a news release that they received a call regarding a person shot on the 2200 block of N. Alameda Boulevard around 9 a.m. on Sunday. Police found the 18-year-old man, whom they did not identify in the news release.

The man was flown to an El Paso hospital for treatment, and his condition is unknown, according to the news release.

The shooting remains under investigation and the police requested anyone with information that could identify a suspect or the circumstances leading to the shooting contact LCPD at 575-526-0795.
