Taken on the photographer's south side patio — "I noticed this swallowtail tanking up while eating lunch. It is a black swallowtail." Mel Stone in the Mesquite Historic District.
We’re asking readers to send us photos of something that represents life in the Mesilla Valley. Each week will pick one and publish it in our Thursday eBulletin. We expect the variety of the photos to be endless. Send us an email with your photo to email@example.com. Preferably, the photo should be a JPG between 500KB and 7MB in size. Send us information with the name of the photographer, where and when it was taken, and any other pertinent information. Hit us with your best shot, Las Cruces!
