Posted

In collaboration with the Fine Art Flea Market and CAV Gallery, The Hood, 3206 Harrelson St., will host “Cruisin’ On First Friday,” beginning at 4 p.m. Friday, Sept. 3.

The Hood and Art Obscura, right next door, will be open “while vintage, classic and all-around awesome cars line up outside our building,” The Hood said in a news release.

This mini-car show is open and free to the public.

TANK BBQ by Chala's will be on hand with food for the event.

At 6:30 p.m., participating drivers and their vehicles will “cruise over to Downtown Las Cruces,” the news release said, where they can enjoy more local art, music and food at the Fine Art Flea Market taking place at Plaza de Las Cruces on Main Street.

Cristian Anthony Vallejo Memorial (CAV) Gallery owner Marcus Chormicle will host the gallery’s inaugural show, “Tu Eres Tu,” one block down from the plaza at 128 S. Main St., unit B.

Finally, end your night bar hopping at any of the great local breweries and distilleries lined up on Main Street like Little Toad Creek, Icebox's Boneyard and Broken Spoke.
