The Las Cruces High School boys basketball team improved to 27-0 on the season with an 81-40 win over Mayfield Thursday, Feb. 24, in the district tournament at LCHS.
The Bulldawgs, ranked No. 2 in the state by MaxPreps, will face Organ Mountain at 2 p.m. Saturday at LCHS in the district tournament championship game.
Seeding and brackets for the state playoffs will be released by the New Mexico Activities Association at 5 p.m. Sunday.
Friday, Feb. 25, the Las Cruces girls team will host Organ Mountain at 6 p.m. in the championship game.
