Virgin set to fly Friday

Virgin Galactic will be making its fifth spaceflight of 2023, with a launch window Friday, Oct. 6, from Spaceport America.

The three space tourists scheduled to board the Galactic 04 flight are from the United States, the United Kingdom, and the first person from Pakistan to fly to space.

Virgin Galactic crew include VSS Unity Commander Kelly Latimer and Pilot C.J. Sturckow, VMS Eve Commander Nicola Pecile and Pilot Jameel Janjua and Astronaut Instructor Beth Moses.

No specific time has been announced, but typically the flights have been taking off around 8-9 a.m.
