“Ben Hur” concludes its run this week at the Black Box Theatre, with shows 7 p.m. Thursday, Dec. 14; 8 p.m. Friday, Dec. 15, and Saturday, Dec. 16; and a 2:30 p.m. matinee Sunday, Dec. 17. The show’s twist features a quartet of actors attempting all 900 pages of the book, with hilarious results. The Black Box Theatre is at 430 N.
