The Las Cruces Writers are a group of authors and aspiring authors.  Some are published writers, others are actively working on a project, while others are ready and anxious to begin writing. The group’s mission statement is, “writers helping writers.”  LCW meets at the Good Samaritan on the second Thursday of each month from 1:30 to 3:30pm. The monthly agendas vary from: an opportunity for a writer to have his or her piece critiqued, to a round table Q and A discussion, to presentations by published authors on a variety of subjects regarding writing, editing, publishing, and marketing your book. LCW also hosts two annual book signings at the Mesilla Valley Mall. Annual dues are $25. Anyone wishing to join may do so by logging onto the website: lascruceswritersgroup.org or by simply attending the next meeting.
