Construction work affecting a high-pressure natural gas line will temporarily close part of Las Alturas Drive beginning Thursday and through the rest of August, the city of Las Cruces announced.
The work will be performed by Las Cruces Utilities and require a weekday traffic detour from Las Alturas to Geothermal Drive onto S. Triviz Drive between 7 a.m. and 5 p.m., according to a news release.
The project and detour will not affect RoadRUNNER Transit or school bus routes, per the city. More information is available via Pete Duran at 575-528-3574.
