Casa Camino Real Bookstore has opened its Season of Gratitude Book & Art Sale.
Casa Camino Real is a multicultural bookstore featuring new, used, first edition, out of print and rare books with a focus on Southwestern, regional, Chicana/o, Latino/a and English/Spanish children’s and adult books.
Hours are 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. Thursday through Saturday during the holiday season, and also by appointment.
Featured in the sale are half-price books including novels, art books, classics, mysteries, Southwestern books, vintage small format books, and much more. You will find that Mexican lobby card or poster and peruse our special collection of postcards.
Looking for that special and unusual gift? We have many signed first edition books by beloved New Mexico and world authors.
The store is at 314 S. Tornillo St. in the heart of the Mesquite Historical District on the Camino Real.
Pick up the latest issue of Edible New Mexico with Denise Chavez’s biscocho article and enjoy café de olla along with a freshly made biscocho/biscochito. Bring something to share as well, preferably chocolate!
