Doña Ana County announced a 45-day closure of Lomas Avenue, to commence on May 27 for the installation of storm drain structure. The project is taking place in the Del Cerro community.
Traffic will be affected only from Calle de la Cruz, the county said.
At the same time, Cristo Avenue, the street running parallel to Lomas to the north, will reopen after a closure that began in February. Work near that road was for installing storm drain and concrete structure for the Lily Pond Project.
Signage will be in place and drivers are asked to reduce speed and take extra care driving in the construction area. More information is available at 575-524-3551.
