The off ramp from the Interstate 10 eastbound exit 139, as well as the northbound lanes of Motel Blvd., will close for nine days beginning Monday.
The state Department of Transportation said work crews will begin replacing broken concrete slabs on the exit ramp on Monday, Feb. 19, and closures are expected to continue until Wednesday, Feb. 28. The DOT encouraged motorists to plan alternative routes. There will also be detour routes with signs to assist drivers.
