University Avenue will be reduced to a single lane eastbound at Solano Drive on Tuesday and Wednesday, Dec. 12 and 13, the city announced in a news release.
The purpose is to allow Lumen Technologies to conduct maintenance to its buried infrastructure at the intersection.
A detour will be in place via Plain Street and Jordan Road for motorists turning east onto University from Solano.
Access to residences and businesses will be maintained during the closures. Motorists are urged to follow all posted signs.
The work will affect RoadRUNNER Transit routes 2 and 8. The work will require intermittent closures of bus stop 12 on Route 2.
