Mesilla Street from Picacho Avenue to Newcomb Street will be closed Thursday, Sept. 28, as part of the Water Main Rehabilitation Alley North of Picacho Project.
Affected residents are urged to follow detour signs. Speeding fines will be doubled in the construction zone and motorists should obey all posted signs.
RoadRUNNER Transit routes will not be affected.
The city has verified no conflicting public or private construction projects will take place in the immediate area at this time.
