Replacement of broken concrete slabs will proceed on southbound lanes of Motel Boulevard between Amador Avenue and Interstate 10 Monday, March 4, with that section of the road closed continuously until Wednesday, March 13.
Work on the northbound lanes was completed on Feb. 28, per the state Department of Transportation, and the closures will affect southbound lanes.
The DOT recommends planning an alternative route, although a detour route will be marked with signs as well. The closures are subject to change due to weather or other conditions.
