A water outage is scheduled 9 a.m.-1 p.m. Tuesday, Nov. 7, for the following areas:
An additional water outage is scheduled for 9 a.m.-1 p.m. Thursday, Nov. 9, on Las Alturas Drive between Quail Run Avenue and Senna Drive.
Adjacent areas may also be affected.
The outages are taking place so electrical improvements can be made to a booster station.
If water on your street is scheduled to be turned off, a door hanger notice will be posted a minimum of 24-hours in advance.
Once service is restored, residents may notice discolored water due to iron, manganese, and calcium deposits. Although the water is safe to drink, the City recommends waiting for the water to become clear before washing laundry. The discoloration should disappear within 24 hours. If it does not, all cold-water faucets in a residence or business should be flushed for five minutes.
